The Telecommunication Engineering Course offers its students the opportunity to participate in research and training activities that promote the diffusion of information technologies in International Cooperation projects. The involvement of students is mainly through graduate thesis and internships.

For example, in the context of the WAER Resource Management project in Semi Arid Regions (WARM SAR) on the use of satellite data to support hydrological modeling in Burkina Faso, several students had the opportunity to: To confront the technical, social and economic problems that limit the use of information technologies in disadvantaged socio-economic contexts. Participating in the project's technical activities, devoted to the development of innovative products for the interpretation and use of radar images as a support in the development of hydrological models necessary for the management of water resources. The activities were carried out in collaboration with the Non-Frontiers Naples Associate, the University of Salerno and the University of Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso.
